              Purple Martin Spring Migration
    • Spring migration for Western Purple Martins in BC has started!
    • The first few adult Purple Martins were seen on April 15 at Cowichan Bay and Ladysmith.

      Displays, refreshments and nestling banding at 3 pm and 4 pm at the Ladysmith Maritime Society community marina off Oyster Bay Rd. (Follow the yellow signs.) Wear something purple!
